City schools referendum
scheduled for March 17th
School system asking for approval from voters for $25M

Two referendums are coming up
on the ballot for city voters that will
determine if improvements for
Carrollton City Schools will take
place. Among other advances and
enhancements, the school system is
endeavoring to build a new high
school.
In January, the Carrollton Board of
Education voted to place the first ref
erendum on the March 17, 2015 bal
lot. It concerns the issuing of bonds
that would allow the school system to
proceed with its proposed “capital
