State School Superintendent Richard Woods
spoke concerning the direction of education in
Georgia at the Carroll County TEA Party’s
recent monthly meeting held Tuesday evening,
June 16th in the Tracy Stallings building,
North White Street, Carrollton. There were
about 30 people in attendance, including State

Carroll County Water Authority meets for
their monthly meeting on June 18, 2015.
Executive Director Matt Windom presented the
Authority with the monthly status report.
The active customer base was 17,163. The
Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant operated at
59% of its capacity, processing an average of
4.71 million gallons per day. The total system
production was 4.76 million gallons per day~
4.59 mgd from the water treatment plant and
0.17 mgd from groundwater wells.
