Progress of Villa Rica’s
bypass and roundabout
Long anticipated bypass - North Loop Project -
and city’s first roundabout will improve traffic
flow and enhance economic development

The Georgia Regional Transportation Authority
approved final funding for the $11.2 million North Loop
Project for Villa Rica - “the by-pass” - in April. When fin
ished, the city will have contributed a little less than $1
million in engineering and environmental studies.

County Board of Commissioners
and Chairman passed, by resolu
tion, the budget for operation of
the county for the period of July 1,
2016 through June 30, 2017. A
public hearing was held on May
31,2016.
Revenues for Fiscal Year 2016-
2017 are projected to be
$50,357,431, which is a 1.5%
increase over last year and an
increase of 9.02% from the July 1,
