Villa Rica searching for
yet another city manager
David Milliron contract terminated early; search is on
for replacement; interim city manager at post now at
rate of $10,000 per month pay

The City of Villa Rica has once again begun a search for a
city manager. An interim city manager, Mike Jackon, is cur
rently in that position at the rate of $10,000 per month for
the next three or four months.
In a special called meeting held on February 16, 2017,
Villa Rica City Council voted to terminate the contract of
Villa Rica City Manager David Milliron. Motion for termi
nation of the contract was made by Council Member Gil
McDougal, seconded by Council Member Danny Carter.
Council Members Verland Best, Danny Carter, Gil
McDougal, and Leslie McPherson voted in favor of termi
nation, while Council Member Shirley Marchman voted

Carroll County, Carroll EMC made a contribution to Carroll Tomorrow as part of their
five-year commitment to Advantage Carroll 2020. (Fourth from left) Loy Howard,
