20 candidate seats open:
13 seats unchallenged
65% of Carroll County’s open political spots were unopposed

The 2017 Municipal
General Election is coming up,
and qualifying for candidates
recently ended. The election
will be held November 7th. In
Carroll County, Georgia, there
were 20 seats open, of which
13 seats - 65% of all seats -
were unopposed: incumbents
retain the seat. The following
is a list of those who qualified.
In the city of Bowdon, for
city council Ward 1,
Incumbent Jan Rowland is
running unopposed for another
term. Rowland is a retired edu
