Lowell and
Roopville voting
precincts merged
as of January 30
Newly formed “Roopville Road
Precinct" polling place now at
Roopville Road Baptist Church
replaces both the Lowell
and Roopville voting sites
Effective as of January 30, 2018,
the Lowell and Roopville voting pre
cincts will be merged and moved to
a new location. This precinct will
now be known as Roopville Road
Precinct and will vote at the follow
ing location:

Special Election: early voting,
absentee voting, list of precincts
Early voting for the March 20, 2018 Special
Election County Commission District 1 began Feb.
26th and will continue through 5:00 p.m. Friday,
March 26th. Photo ID is required to vote in person.
There is no voting of any kind Mon, March 19,2018.
Absentee by Mail applications are available online
at http://www.carrollcountyga.com/541/Absentee-By-
Mail or contact the elections office, 770-830-5823 to
request an application be mailed to you. The last day
for the elections office to issue an absentee by mail
ballot is Friday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m. My Voter Page
voters may check their registration status at any time
by visiting My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.

on February 9, 2018. He entered the race foi
governor in November 2017 because he said

Willowbrooke at Tanner is inviting the com
munity to attend a free discussion on Tuesday,
March 27, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Tabernacle
Baptist Church, located at 150 Tabernacle
Drive in Carrpllton. The program/discussion is
free, but registration is required at

The program, “Close to Home: The
Sobering Truth About Alcohol and Opioids,”
will help those in attendance understand the
prevalence of substance abuse, learn how to
recognize the signs of addiction, and where to
get help. It will feature current regional statis
