Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp were greeted by an excited crowd
as they stepped off the Governor’s tour bus onto Adamson Square, downtown Carrollton
Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Supporters kept the two quite busy with handshakes and
snippits of conversation for more than an hour before they were able to make their way
down the sidewalk and into City Tavern for a scheduled campaign speech. The restaurant
was filled to overflow capacity, so doors were opened wide to allow those outside to hear.
Shown above left is Greg Camp, owner of both the Southern Standard Construction
and Halo Water Fowl apparel company, Carrollton, as he, the Governor, and First Lady
exchange a laugh. The Kemps had also visited the City of Bremen earlier that morning.
