Funeral Notices Ms. Diane English Bentley Ms. Diane English Bentley, age 73, of Jeffer son, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Memorial serv ices will be held at a later date. Ms. Bentley was born in Thomaston, Jan. 11, 1947, to the late Clayton G. Eng lish and Betty Ellington English. She was a 1965 graduate of R.E. Lee Insti tute. She was a flight atten dant with Delta Air Lines and was later employed in the medical field. Survivors include a daughter, Brandian (Joel) Hadaway of Smith's Sta tion, Ala.; a son, Brandt Bentley of Jefferson; her mother, Betty Ellington English of Forsyth; her twin brother, David (Betti) Eng lish of Stone Mountain, and two other brothers, Clay (Marcia) English and Phil lip (Connie) English, both of Forsyth. Five grandchil dren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements. Mrs. Mary Lois Grant Ausbrooks Mrs. Mary Lois Grant Ausbrooks, age 65, of Sec ond Street, passed Monday, Dec. 28,2020 at Upson Re gional Medical Center. Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Edward Searcy, Jr. offici ated, assisted by Evangelist Sandra T. Trice. Interment was in Fellowship Ceme tery. Mary Ausbrooks at tended Drake high School. She was employed by the Upson County Board of Education at Upson Ele mentary School on the jan itorial staff. She is survived by six children, Mr. Allan Aus brooks, Jr., Mr. Anthony Ausbrooks, Ms. Monica Ausbrooks, Mr. Kelcey Aus brooks, and Mr. Montav- ious Ausbrooks all of Thomaston, and Mr. Bryan (LaNedra) Ausbrooks of McDonough; 19 grandchil dren and seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Monnie Brazil, Ms. Loretta Grant, and Mrs. Brenda Grant Carter, all of Thomaston; one brother, Mr. Chester Grant of Thomaston; one aunt, who was more like a sister, Mrs. Bonnie Atwater of Thomaston; one sister-in- law, Mrs. Jackie D. Grant of Thomaston; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Trice Funeral Home was in charge of the ar rangements. Mr. Joseph Randall "Randy" Bridges Mr. Joseph Randall "Randy" Bridges, age 59, of Thomaston, died Wednes day, Dec. 30, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta. Mr. Bridges was born on March 4,1961 in Thom aston, to the late Jerry Wayne Bridges and Georgia Mae Gibson Bridges. He was a former painter and carpenter and was a member of Elkins Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was pre ceded in death by his brother, Gregory Scott Bridges. Survivors include his mother, Georgia Bridges of Thomaston; brother, Chris (Felicia) Bridges of Thom aston; sister, Kim (Allen) Beverly of Thomaston; nephews, CJ (Brittany) Bridges of Thomaston, Tyler Bridges of Concord, Trey Bridges of Concord; nieces, Ashley Houston, Alesha Bridges, and Amber Coggins, all of Thomaston; great nieces and nephews, Kamryn, Klayton, Nicholas, Brilee, and Kobyn. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 from Elkins Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed at Elkins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
