I went out Saturday to walk my new doggie, and my black shoes were cov ered with yellow pollen. Yesterday I did some sneez ing and then had a scratchy throat. I am just hoping that it stops with these two symptoms because the taxes need to be completed, and I don’t have time to be sick. The recipe for the crock- pot pepper steak is one that 1 tried several weeks ago and was able to freeze a serving to eat later. Be sure to do a taste test before serving because I added a little more soy sauce to mine. I did not cook parme- san asparagus to go with it, but I think it would be a great side for pepper steak. I love the recipe for hay stacks, and I think that it has been around for several decades. I am making them this week to have for those times when I want some thing sweet to eat.
