Dumpster missing drain plug; to prevent
liquids from leaking out to possibly attract
insects/rodents and to prevent possible
entry of insects/rodents into dumpster, the
drain plug must be replaced. Ceiling pan
els very dusty around diffusers/AC vent in
ceiling over prep/cook area and wail/prep
area in kitchen; clean frequently to prevent
buildup of dust/debris that can fall onto
food/food contact surfaces. Floor needs
better cleaning in comers under dry stor
age for shelving, behind water heater and
around mop sink; accumulation of grease/
food/dirt debris in these areas can be
attraction for insects/rodents.

OBITUARIES
Thomas William "Bill" Cofield
Thomas William “Bill” Cofield Sr.,
85, of Dahlonega, died Feb. 15, 2019.
He was born to the late Robert and
Gertrude Cofield in Fulton County. He
was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega
and a member of Bethlehem Baptist
Church in Dahlonega as well as the
Etowah Masonic Lodge F&AM #222
for over 50 years.
Bill was a loving husband, father,
grandfather and great-grandfather. He
loved bluegrass music, gold panning,
metal detecting and traveling in his RV.
He was very proud of the work he
accomplished doing sheet metal and
copper metal working. Bill was a U.S.
Navy veteran who served during the
Korean War.
His wife, Shirley Jean Cofield; son,
Gerald Lee Springfield; and sister,
Bobbie Chieppa, preceded him in death.
Survivors inlcude his wife of 36 years,
Jerri Cofield of Dahlonega; children,
Thomas “Tommy” and Kay Cofield of
Dahlonega, Valorie and Jerry Jarrard of
Dahlonega, Elizabeth and Greg Bell of
Dahlonega, Blaine and Paula
Springfield of Canton, Karen and Mike
Hamann of Suwanee; grandchildren,
Stephen, Daniel and Ariel, Chris and
Jordan, Sarah, Chase, Andrew and
Megan, Matthew, Stacy, Jerry; great
grandchildren, Colton, Case, Asher,
McKenzie, Luke and Brianna; various
other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.
Feb. 17 in the Bearden Funeral Home
Chapel with the Reverends, Kris Butler
and Lyman Caldwell officiating.
Interment followed at Bethel Baptist
Church in Dawsonville.
The family received friends from 4-8
p.m. Feb. 16 at the funeral home.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville
was in charge of the arrangements.

Elizabeth Morris, 89, of Dawsonville,
died Feb. 13, 2019.
Services will be held at a later date.

Etowah Water & Sewer Authority (the Authority) will hold its annual
meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 4:00 pm.
The regular monthly Board of Directors meetings will follow immediately
after the Authority’s annual meeting adjourns.
Both meetings will be held in the Don D. Gordon Conference Room of the
Etowah Water & Sewer Authority Administration Office located at 1162
Hwy 53 E Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Feb. 20, 2019 '
Carolyn Ann Paulsen
Carolyn Ann Paulsen, 78, of
Dawsonville, died Feb. 13, 2019.
She was bom to the late Louis and Helen
Palumbo, in Boston, Mass. She was a loving
wife, mother and grandmother that loved
movies and ice skating back in Boston.
Her brother and sister-in-law, Louis and
Elizabeth Palumbo, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 54
years, Peter Paulsen of Dawsonville; son
and daughter-in-law, Christopher and
Candice Paulsen of Johns Creek; grand
children, Joshua Paulsen and Natalie
Paulsen; brother, John and Tina Palumbo;
nephew, Thomas and Megan Palumbo;
niece, Catherine and Ron Schumer; vari
ous other relatives also survive.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville
was in charge of the arrangements.
