According to FFA advis er Keith Pankey, students in kindergarten through seventh grade from all of the county’s schools took part in AG days, in which the students were invited to the DCHS Ag department and rotated through stu dent-led agricultural career stations. “The stations ranged from poultry, greenhouse, animal science, alternative livestock, machinery, dairy, beef and others,” Pankey said. The students also took part in fun activities like “twinning day,” “Maroon day” and “wacky day” at the high school level, Pankey added. According to Pankey, the FFA Week events were facilitated with help from one of the local poultry producers, a member’s par ent, an alumni member and the local Farm Bureau. The students in FFA were given a thank-you banner, which is now hanging in the live stock bam, from students at Robinson Elementary School. “The DCHS FFA thanks all of our community sup porters of our program,” Pankey said.
