Tiger Threads Boutique
We had the opportunity to celebrate Tiger Threads, a boutique founded by two
Junior FCCLA students, with a goal to provide work appropriate attire for Dawson
County students. Tiger Threads is located in the Dawson County College and Career
Academy building. The boutique features work attire clothing for varying industries,
all clothing is new and with tags. These students are working hard to fill the boutique
by partnering with community businesses to donate clothing, gift cards & money to
purchase new product. If you have any questions or would like to become a partner

We had a great time celebrating Ascent Church Dawson! During the ribbon cutting,
we had the opportunity to tour the conference space at the Holiday Inn Express that
Ascent Church uses for their Wednesday & Sunday services, including the child care
space. Ascent Church Dawson has a passion for community and serving others and
