The Dawson County Woman's Club, a
nonprofit service organization, meets on
the first Monday of each month except
July and August (no meetings) and
September (second Monday).
Monthly membership meetings feature
guest speakers, discussions and planning
for upcoming events and activities.
Annual events include a picnic in June, a
Christmas banquet, and our fundraiser
fashion show, luncheon and silent auc

at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each
month at the Dawson County Board of

The Amicalola Regional Farmers
Market is open at the farmers market
pavilion at 86 Allen Street on Wednesdays
from 3 to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8
a.m. to 1 p.m.The market does not
charge vendors participating in the mar
ket. A variety of vendors offer locally
grown produce, local honey, local chick
en, pork, beef and lamb, fresh eggs,
freshly baked breads and treats, hand
made jewelry and other crafts, and much
more.
Concord Baptist Fall Festival will be
from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26.The
event is free and there will be a trunk-or-
treat, bounce houses, hayrides, games,
face painting, a cake walk. Dinner will be
provided. Come join us for a night of fun.

The Feral Cat Program of Georgia will
have Catoberfest 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3
p.m., on Oct. 8 at Fowler Park.The annual
fall festival gets bigger each year, so plan
to kick-off the festival season with the
local nonprofit.Their event includes over
30 vendors and artists, 50 + silent auction
baskets, a rockin' DJ and food trucks.

the Forsyth Conference Center from 1-4
p.m.. Sept. 30.The job fair is free for
