TUESDAYS 10AM DAWSON BOOK BABIES STORYTIME Join us at the Dawson Library in the Dawson Meeting Room for this program designed for babies (along with parent) from birth to 23 months. We'll be creating building blocks of early literacy through songs, action rhymes, books, and playtime. These are wonderful times for your babies to hear lots of language, and a great opportunity for you to meet new parents! (Structured activity for 15 minutes with playtime after). EVERY WED 11AM-3PM The Cumming Arts Center is now open on Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for an additional Open Studio opportunity, with the next session being a still life drawing/painting session.Open Studios continue to be available onThursdays and Fridays. SAT, MAY 4, 9:00 AM A CIRCUS BLESSING Cumming Fairgrounds, 235 Castleberry Rd, Cumming, GA, 30040 A Circus Blessing is a fundraising event created by 11 year old Kylee Zulauf to help raise funds for Blessings In A Backpack Forsyth. Blessings in a Backpack Forsyth is ran by Lambert High School students. Each week they pack meals for over 460 school age Forsyth County Students to merge the hunger gap over the weekends. Most kids in the Blessings in a Backpack program will never get to see a circus show or even travel to see performances. If you can't afford food, affording a day of family fun is also not in the budget. A Circus Blessing will provide every student in the Blessings in a Backpcak program a free ticket to the event. All donations and funds collected from A Circus Blessing will go directly to Blessings in a Backpack Forsyth. With your help, A Circus Blessing will truly be like no other!
