Beyond his control in front of goal, Beach showed a calm and mature leadership style that not only earned him a co-team cap tain role, but also directly influ enced the team in positive ways during moments of pressure. On the girls side, Lady Tigers forward Harper Dussouy was tabbed as Region 7 Player of the Year after a dominant sopho more campaign. As a player who could be placed on either wing, Dussouy was a constant source of offen sive pressure. While her goal tally of 27 stands out, she also provided for teammates by con tributing 12 assists. Several other Dawson County players also received All-Region accolades as follows: Lady Tigers First Team • Corbi Hicks - A quick, intelligent sophomore defender who was readily able to engage against offenses around the region. Her ability to get clean tackles in and help gain posses sion proved important. Second Team • McKinley Adamson - Standout freshman forward who tallied 22 goals. In addition to solid footwork and clinical fin ishing, her speed was often unmatched by opponents. • Nora Oliver — Freshman defender who served as a more aggressive complement to the deep-lying Hicks. Oliver’s attri butes included dribbling, tough ness, and switching possession. Honorable Mention • Eisa Chapman — A busy, energetic freshman midfielder whose efficient passing allowed the team to flow smoothly. As the season progressed, she became increasingly better at one-on-one bathes. • Elena Nelson — Strong and skilled junior midfielder who could run box-to-box with ease. Her fearless style of play and general physic ality allowed her to be the catalyst of momentum during any match. DCHS Boys First Team • Dom LeBlanc — Led all of Region 7 with 18 goals. The senior’s speed, strategic knowl edge, and athletic mindset allowed him to thrive. • Junior Sanchez — Senior co-captain whose transition from midfielder to center-back paid dividends for the Tigers. His physical strength and persistence contributed to the shutouts. Second Team • Zach Cruz — Stout full back whose strong leg and sneaky speed was a big part of the team’s counterattacks. Also bagged six goals. • Manny Lopez — Junior mid fielder who could turn a game on its head with his long passes and ability to shoot from deep range. • Angel Zavala — Sharp defender who paired well with Sanchez in the back. The junior balanced a relentless energy with aggression that could swiftly end an opponent’s momentum. Honorable Mention • Jacob Felkai — Scrappy, tough sophomore forward who could hold the ball up, pass well, and slice through a defense. Scored four goals. • Luke Oliver — Solid defen sive midfielder who helped the team gain possession and build up speed during matches.
