NEW RESTAURANTS GALORE
Intown's dining options continue to grow

For every restaurant that closes, it seems three
open to take its place. Intown’s dining options
continue to grow at a breakneck pace, and there
is literally something for every taste. Whether
you like a simple burger or something more
adventurous, there’s an eatery with your name on
it. Here’s a rundown of what’s recently opened and
what’s on the horizon. Be sure to turn to Page 46 to
see what’s hot and happening in Decatur.

Krog Street Market
Restaurants at Inman Park’s new destination for dining are opening on their own
schedules, but sushi and tapas bar Craft Izakaya and French-American brasserie
The Luminary are already serving eager diners. Opening soon: burger and sandwich
purveyors Fred’s Meat & Bread, kebabs and falafel from Yalla, dumplings and noodles
from Gu’s Dumplings, Grand Champion BBQ, Asha Gomez’s Spice Road Chicken
stall, charcuterie from The Cockentrice, seafood from Off the Dock and Tex-Mex from

Spice to Table
The long-awaited new dining concept by Chef Asha Gomez is now open at
Studioplex in the Old Fourth Ward. Open for breakfast and lunch daily excluding
Mondays, Gomez describes the new restaurant as an “Indian patisserie” with menu
items like spiced oatmeal, samosa pockets, caramelized onion and spiced cashew
crostatas and quiche for breakfast. While lunch will feature tomato pies, vegetable rice
pulao, pork vindaloo sandwiches, curried chicken stuffed bread, soup of the day and a

The Pig & The Pearl
Chef Todd Richards is serving up brisket, pork shoulder, duck and sausage alongside
fresh raw and smoked seafood and shellfish at Atlantic Station. 1380 Atlantic Ave.,

MAX’S Wine Dive
Located in the 12th & Midtown development, MAX’s is offering “gourmet comfort
food” (Southern fried chicken, oysters, mac ‘n cheese) with a selection of wines from

TRACE
Head over to the W Atlanta-Midtown to try the “farm-to-hotel” menu for breakfast,
lunch or dinner with a healthy take on classic Southern dishes and cocktails. 188 14th

Sandwich ’
Smokebelly
This new Buckhead spot features a menu of “chef crafted barbecue” inspired by
different regions. The restaurant also offers craft beer and cocktails. 128 East Andrews

Bellwoods Social House
Pizza, wings, burgers and cocktails are on
the menu at this new Westside eatery, which was
slated to open Aug. 28. 1000 Marietta St., Suite

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall
You’ll be able to walk right off the Eastside
Trail onto the patio of this new eatery at 684 John
Wesley Dobbs Ave. (or mile marker 9.25 from
the BeltLine) in the Old Fourth Ward. Expected
to be open any day now, the menu is “modern
campfire cuisine” with burgers and cocktails.

Le Fat
Terminus City
Kevin Gillespie’s long-awaited second restaurant has opened in the Gunshow
space at 924 Garrett
St., Suite C. in
Glenwood Park.
The “takeover”
of Gunshow will
continue until
Gilliespie finalizes the
location for Terminus
City. The menu is
a hybrid barbecue
joint meets meat and
three family-style

Guy Wong, the chef behind Miso Izakaya, was expected to launch his new
Vietnamese restaurant on the Westside at the end of
August or early September. It could be open by the
time you read this, so find their Facebook page for

Diner
Chef Ron Eyester’s latest concept is slated to
debut this month at Atlantic Station with modern
takes on the class diner menu of breakfast, lunch

Victory Sandwich Bar
The Inman Park location closed to make way for
the Inman Quarter development, so fans of their
sandwiches, tacos and world famous Jack & Coke
slushie have had to trek over to Decatur. A new
