Thus, for September, we’ve brought a few to INtown - replete with Yelper-approved highlights for you to chew on. Makan Get your fix of Asian streetfood and an array of Hong Kong, Seoul and Taipei comfort foods. Yelpers are especially gravitating towards the Ramyun, Beef Noodle Soup and Pork Belly Buns. 130 Clairemont Ave., Suite 100. Butter & Cream Touting flavors such as “Butterscotch Brownie” and “Freckled Chocolate,” this little scoop shop just hit the square at the right time. Great touch with real spoons for all of your tasting needs. Emma G notes, it’s “seriously fresh ice cream.” 416 Church St. Wild Heaven Craft Beers The brewery and taproom are just down College Avenue and along the railroad tracks for these local heroes. Check out their brews, onsite, Friday through Sunday during taproom hours. Pro Tip: Check out the “Civilization” barley wine. Huge flavors and it packs a punch. 135B Maple St. The Imperial Meg C deems these guys a “perfect neighborhood place to be” and the menu has something for everyone - wings, burgers, and the Le Poutine de Georgia, which seems to be the clear showstopper of all appetizers. 726 W. College Ave. BONUS - Kimball House Though these guys may be the veterans of this list, opening in late 2013, you need to have them on your radar if you haven’t paid your first visit just yet. For the cocktail enthusiast to the oyster aficionado, Kimball House’s vibe and deft hands behind the bar will make them one of your Decatur mainstays in no time.
