Henry Grady
Gorham, Ir.
Henry Grady Gorham,
Jr., age 93, of Fayetteville,
went on to be with his
Lord Sunday, May 28,
2023. He was born to
Henry Grady Gorham, Sr.
and Era Bishop Gorham in
Albertville, Ala. Friday,
May 23,1930.
Henry was preceded in
death by his parents; wife,
Dotsy McGaha Gorham;
his stepson, Johnny Efird;
and grandchild, Paul Wil
son.
He is survived by his
children, Danny Gorham,
David (Kim) Gorham,
Gilda Gorham Wilson,
Tina (Eric) Smith, and
Swanee (Greg) Owen;
daughter-in-law, Fay
Efird; grandchildren, Jody
(Brook) Efird, Mason Gor
ham, Shannon (Shawn)
Waldroup, and Lisa
McNutt; great-grandchil
dren, Ashlyn Waldroup,
Nathan Waldroup, Jack-
son Waldroup, Gavin
McNutt, Jacob Efird, and
Justin Efird; and longtime
companion, who became a
part of the family, Norma
Mathis.
Henry lived in Fay
etteville for 55 years and
raised five children. He
served in the Army Na
tional Guard before retir
ing from Ford Motor
Company after 36 years.
Henry worked multiple
jobs at the same time to
make sure his family was
well taken care of. Henry
was a Christian and of the
Lutheran faith.
A graveside service was
held Friday, June 2, at
Camp Memorial Park, in
Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, the
family suggests a donation
in Henry’s name to a char
ity of your choice.

Claudine Drennan Hill,
age 96, Fayetteville, went
on to be with her Lord
Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
She was born in Fayette
County to John Loy Dren
nan and Annie Lois Co
chran Drennan, Saturday,
Sept. 4,1926.
She was preceded by
her parents; her loving
husband, Marvin Harold
Hill; and her son, Ronnie
Lovett.
Claudine is survived by
her grandchildren, Lisa
Lovett, Joshua Ronald
Lovett, and Tiffany
Conner; along with several
great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was
held Sunday, June 4, in
the chapel of Mowell Fu
neral Home in Fay
etteville, with Rev. Glenn
Stringham. Visitation oc
curred prior to the service.
Claudine was laid to rest at
Camp Memorial Park in
Fayetteville.
