Several windows in the District Attorney’s Office were opened on Monday and Tuesday in an effort to dry out, while SERVPRO was called in to remediate the damage. One of the plastic water lines connecting to the ice machine became disen gaged, according to County Manager Carlos Tobar, which resulted in the accident. “SERVPRO came out here and has been doing a great job and is trying to get all of those offices back in order,” Tobar said during the meeting of the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday night. The primary water damage was experienced in the District Attorney’s Office and Code Enforcement department, which tempo rarily moved into another suite earlier this week. A witness relayed to detectives that he walked into the house and saw the reported victim nude and unconscious, while Griffin and Waddle also were nude, according to a Baldwin County Sheriffs Office incident report. Neither suspect bonded out, and both remained behind bars as of press time Wednesday. Waddle had no prior jail history at the Sheriffs Office, while this is Griffin’s third arrest this year. Griffin in May was arrested for felony theft by receiving following an incident on Anthony Way, while last month he was arrested for possession of cocaine downtown.
