central mountains of Colorado,

Steamboat Springs. Six to
12 inches of snow fell in the
Denver and Boulder areas,
delaying plane flights and
snarling traffic.
Dec. 11. 1987 - Low pressure
over southwestern Ontario,
Canada, brought snow and
gusty winds to the north
central United States. Winds
gusted to 62 mph at Riverton,
Wyo. Snow and high winds in
eastern North Dakota reduced
visibilities to less than 100 feet.
