Man hides marijuana in pants
Jackie Gutknecht

An Eatonton man was arrested
after attempting to conceal his mar
ijuana in the crotch of his pants on
April 20.
Graeme Michael Brook, 419 N. Jef
ferson Ave., Eatonton, was arrested
and charged with possession of mar
ijuana less than an ounce.
Greene County Sheriffs Deputy Conrad
Easley initially conducted a traffic stop on
Johnathan Huddelson, the driver of a 2009
Pontiac G6 for having a non-illuminated head
light at Publix on Highway 44. Brook was a
passenger in the car.
Easley questioned Huddelson about the
headlight and the odor of marijuana coming
from the vehicle. He reportedly said there was
no marijuana in the car.
Easley then had Brook exit the car
and noticed green residue on Brook’s
pants.
“Deputy Easley questioned Mr.
Brook about the odor of marijuana,
to which Mr. Brook stated there was
none in the car, but he had previous
ly smoked some,” according to the
GCSO incident report.
Easley conducted a probable
cause search of the car based on the
odor. He noticed marijuana residue on both
the driver’s and passenger’s side and a “white,
hand-rolled joint containing suspected mari
juana laying on the passenger seat,” according
to the report.
Easley placed Brook in handcuffs, advised
him of his Miranda Rights and asked how
much marijuana he had on him.
