ARREST MADE FOR IVANDITTI MURDER

An acquaintance of Lydia Huggins
Ivanditti was arrested Tuesday after
noon for her murder, authorities said
Tuesday night. Frank Don Causey,
26, of 202-B Putnam Ave., Eatonton,
was arrested Tuesday afternoon and
charged with one count of murder,
according to Eatonton Police Chief
Kent Lawrence. He was transported
to Putnam County Jail where he is
being held without bond.
Ivanditti, 63, was found dead in
the bathroom of her home at 307 W.
Walnut St. by her mother on Dec.
2. At that time, authorities said her
death was “suspicious of foul play.”
Since then, her death was ruled a
homicide due to the combined effects
of strangulation and drowning, ac
cording to a news release from the
Georgia Bureau of Investigation and
Eatonton Police Department.
Causey, whom authorities describe
as an acquaintance of Ivanditti’s, is
originally from Memphis, but has
been living in Eatonton off and on for
several years, according to the news
release. He has a prior arrest record
in Putnam County.
Causey was arrested at the old
Horton Homes plant in Eatonton,
which also is his last known employer,
according to the booking report. A
fire also took place in that vicinity

Morgan County Sheriffs deputies
chased down a fleeing suspect last
Thursday morning in the northern
part of Morgan County.
Adam McDaniel, 28, of Madison
was wanted for a probation violation
but he attempted to elude police in a
stolen vehicle and led deputies on a
high speed chase through northern
Morgan County.
He wrecked his vehicle trying to get
away from law enforcement officials

Four former football players arrested
A quartet of former Greene
County football players was arrested
last week after Greensboro Police
Officers were dispatched to the scene

MORGAN COUNTY
High school student charged with statutory rape
A Morgan County High School
student has been charged with
statutory rape.
Steven Wade Waters, 18, of
Newborn was arrested Dec. 13
after Morgan County school ad
ministrators notified the Morgan
County Sheriffs Office that a
student had sent out nude pictures
of a 15-year-old female to another
student.
According to the incident report
obtained from the Morgan County
Sheriffs Office, Cpl. Brad Vaughn
met with assistant principal Ryan
Rickard and Waters on Dec. 13 at
the school.
During the conversation, Waters
admitted having sent the photos of
the juvenile student to three of his
classmates.
After his admission, Waters
was arrested for distribution of
material depicting nudity or sexual
conduct and advised of his rights,
he also admitted to having sexual
relations with the juvenile female.
Waters was then booked into the
Morgan County jail and charged
with statutory rape and computer
child exploitation.
The female juvenile may also face
charges pending and investiga
tion by the school Morgan County
Sheriff s Office and school system.
