Michael Stone michael@lakeoconeenews.us A tragic accident took the life of a 2-year-old boy in Wilkes County Sunday afternoon. Phillip Dyson Robb was killed when he was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by his older brother Joseph Crumbley. According to incident reports, the toddler made his way outside while Crumbley was pre paring to leave his father’s home on Norman Road in Wilkes County. Crumbley did not see the child and when he backed up his truck in the driveway, he hit the the boy. He was transported to Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington where he was pro nounced dead at 12:52 p.m. Philip is the son of Philip Sidney “Sid” Robb Jr. and Lani Amanda Dyson Robb. He also has a sister, Izabella Robb.
