Award wining broadcast journalist Brenda Wood opened the event and, following a buffet style luncheon and bidding on Silent Auction items, the ladies - and four men - sat back and relaxed as some of our multi-talented neighbors took to the runway in fashions by Sonia Says of Athens. Go Red for Sam, was definitely in beat with the "Heart and Soul" Monday. The 'Go Red for Sam Heart & Soul' fashion show was a sell out at the Ritz Monday. The color of the day - red of course! Event chair Jenny Bedell and foundation director Crysty Odum step onto the runway to commence the fashion show! Dr. Patti Bradley, owner of Lake Oconee Dentistry, opens the show in a vegan leather Planet top with tie- dye Lysse leggings. Wearing a beautiful cobalt blue caftan by Baruni, Aimee Gilbert seems to float along the runway. Stunning in a matte jersey military green sheath dress by Maya Negi, Holly Whitworth takes the runway.
