Charles David Robinson was pronounced dead on arrival at Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro after the Aug. 25 incident. Joe Wooten, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation special agent in charge of the case, would not say if the autopsy slated to be done by the medical examiner’s office in Decatur has been completed. “We still consider this an on-going investigation and have no comment,” said Wooten. Morton james@lakeoconeenews.us Joseph Aaron Wilson of Eatonton was charged with DUI - drugs, less than safe; possession of marijuana; open container. At 5:10 a.m. on Sept. 23, officers responded to reports that a vehicle had crashed into the TA Truck Stop on Eatonton Road. Callers stated that the vehicle was stopped against the building but the driver was still attempting to accel erate. The caller then stated that the driver appeared to be asleep behind the wheel and that he was attempt ing to wake him up. When officers arrived to the scene the driver (Wilson) had awakened. Officers noticed a handgun within reach of Wilson; he was asked to step out of the vehicle.
