Presented by OPAS | The Plaza Arts Center | Wednesday, September 20 STORY AND PHOTOS BY LEIGH LOFGREN / Staff ‘Century on Broadway,’ presented by the Oconee Performing Arts Society, starred Broad way stars Doug LaBrecque and Christianne Noll on Wednesday evening, Sept. 20, at The Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton. Songs from Broadway included tributes to Amer ican Operettas, a medley from Show Boat, a Trib ute to George Gershwin, Music Man and Phan tom of the Opera. Accompanying them were 18 members of the Atlanta Pops Orchestra and LaBreckque’s very own musical director, Ross Patterson, who is one of the most respected ar rangers and musical directors in the industry. Musical director and renowned musician Ross Patterson hits the keys for Christianne Noll. OPAS artistic director Jeffery Wells stands with Joyce Dysart and Lois Mengavella before the show Wednesday evening. Having fun at Century on Broadway are Patsy Crime, Elaine Brewer and Becky Black. Atlanta Pops Orchestra maestro Leonard Altieri and his wife, Dorothy, are on hand to watch the performance of Doug LaBrecque and Christiane Noll at Century on Broadway. Broadway star Doug LaBrecque gave yet another great performance during Century on Broadway at the Plaza Arts Center. Andrea Kay and Sue Johnson smile before the show. They were among the large audience for the Century on Broadway at the Plaza, presented by OPAS.
