Contributed Reynolds WGA holds member-guest golf tournament “Hats off to you” was the theme for this year’s mem ber-quest golf tournament played Sept. 17 at the Pre serve Golf Course. This year’s chairmen were Karen Stephenson and Janice O’Kelley. The winners of the first flight were Donna Blackwell and Joy Lynn; second place went to BeBe Mills and Dottie Farmer. Second Flight: first place went to Tess Bankston and Janet Cordano; second place went Kay Hanks and Carol Thompson. Closest to the pin for the guest was Nancy Brewer on hole number three. Member closest to the pin was Kay Hanks on hole number eight. The most accurate drive for a guest was Nancy Pierotti, and BeBe Mills had the best for the member. Contributed Circle of Love Center recently held their 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Creek at Harbor Labor Creek State Park. All of the proceeds benefited Circle of Love, a safe sheL ter and resource center for victims of domestic violence and their children. The four person scramble was created to raise funds to assist domestic violence victims through emergency shelter, counseling, crisis intervention, ongoing supportive services and advocacy. The agency also works to stop domestic violence before it starts through prevention and education.
