The works of members of the Associated Photographers of Lake Oconee Photo Club and The Artisans Village Guild are showcased in this exhibit. Guild Vice President Linda Foster said the guild invited members of the photo club to the guild meeting in May, asking them to bring photos of their choice. Guild members then selected a picture and created a work of art to complement the photo, resulting in an exhibit of all mediums. There was no restriction on the size or medium, and the results were such that the guild intends to make it an annual exhibit, Foster said. Both photographers and artists were on hand to discuss their works; and, all pieces were for sale with proceeds benefiting The Artisans Village capital fund. “This is one of the nicest things I’ve been to in Putnam County,” photographer Ben Leverette said. The “Dual Vision” show will remain in the Artisans Village Art Gallery through Saturday, Oct. 14. Admission is free; hours are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is located at 110 W. Marion Street in downtown Eatonton. Visit theartisansvil- lage.org for more information. Lynn Blair, Andrew Coard and Walter Blair are glad to catch each other at the art show. Blair owns the Magnolia Art Gallery in Greensboro and said she was "so impressed" with the art gallery and with "what you've done with the city here."
