Tickets are $25 per family or four for $7 each and can be purchased at the Humane Society of any board member. Take out plates available. Saturday, Nov. 18 Come and learn how to make Hypertufa planters from the expert, Jim Rowland at the MAGallery on Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. until noon. Rowland will demonstrate the process first, then guide the students casting their own planters. Hypertufa is a lighter-weight concrete cement, peat moss and perlite mixture. You'll love the rustic, aged planters that you'll make in this workshop. Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy in. This class is suitable for adults and children 12 or older. Jazz lovers will enjoy a wide variety of jazz — including swing, salsa, samba, basso nova, ballad and bebop. Music will include old favorites like Myles Collins' transcription of "Little Brown Jug" made famous by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Band members will share their interpretation of Sherman Irby's "Baa Baa Black Sheep," which mimics the children's tune. Other favorites include Antonio Carlos Jobim's "The Girl from Ipanema," Mark Taylor's "Bebop 'N' Georgia" and Lester Young's "Tickletoe." This will be a memorable event not to be missed. The market will include pottery, paintings, fiber art, stained and fused glass, jewelry, sculp ture, photography, woodwork and more. The Market is open Friday, Dec. 1, 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for all three days is $3 for adults. Children under 16 get in free.
