Please help sup port a child by taking a new, unwrapped toy to one of the locations or events listed below. Additionally, Toys for Tots will be collecting in five locations and donating the toys to the GCCSF. Box 741, Greensboro, Georgia 30642 Two annual favorites, the Community HolidayConcert and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert, will be performed in the Madison Morgan Cultural Center’s historic audito rium during the month of December. The Community Holiday Concertsponsoredby United Bank will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. The com munity truly shines as locals perform in a terrific holi day concert. As an annual highlight of the holiday season, the Middle School Jazz Band, the High School Choir, Pointe of Grace Dance Academy, Calvary Majestic Choir and other talented groups and individuals will perform holiday favorites on the Center’s stage. This holiday concert is a free tick eted event. The donation of a canned good for the Caring Place is encouraged. The center will be raffling off a Christmas wreath donated by Jack’s Creek during the concert. Raffle tickets are $5. Ticketsforthe Community Holiday Concert must be picked up from the Cultural Center in advance. Starting Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 through the afternoon of Dec. 3, non-members and members may pick up their tickets for the concert (with a limit of six tickets per family) at the front desk of the Cultural Center during normalbusinesshours. Once capacity for the auditorium is reached, tickets will no longer be available. The cultural center will wrap up its holiday perfor mances on Friday, Dec. 22, with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert sponsored by Bank of Madison and Jim Boyd & Associates. The award-winning AtlantaSymphonyOrchestra (ASO), including a sing- along of familiar holiday tunes, will present Holiday and classical favorites. Experience this Madison holiday tradition first-hand and understand thepower of the season of giving through music and community. Tickets are $55 for mem bers, $65 for non-members and $35 for students. With the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra per formance nearing, the seats ofthe center’s auditorium are filling up fast. Members can purchase a mainstage package and receive a discount. Contact the center to purchase tickets at 706-342-4743, and don’t forget to stop by the center to pick up your free tickets to the Community Holiday Concert. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 16,2017, these tickets will be available.
