GREENE COUNTY
Homeless for the holidays in Lake Country
S—- Measure approved aimed at addressing issue
Greensboro recently approved
an ordinance to provide police
with defined and legal means of
dealing with homeless people in a
municipality replete with white-col
umn mansions and lavish lakefront
homes worth millions of dollars.
However, a closer look at our
homeless neighbors during the
holidays reveals the situation is not
as bleak as it first appears.
“Homelessness? In Greensboro?
It certainly exists,” said Larry
Postell, city manager of Greensboro.
“But it’s not as big a problem as
you might think.”

"Bingo." They clapped hands and
stomped feet in perfect unison,
and also enjoyed the spelling
lesson at the sing-a-long.
