An established musi cian who frequently plays a number of gigs around Lake Country, Pittman opened his first music store in Georgiain Milledgeville in 2010 whenhe moved there from Nashville with his family. Although the Eatonton store has only been open for just a few weeks, the people ofEatonton have already noticed it, and many are beginning to take interest. ‘We’ve gotten a lot of good reception so far,” Eatonton Music Store employee Bill Turkowsky said. “We’ve met a lot of nice people. There have been people just walk ing down the street who say that they’re glad that we’re here. We really feel safe and secure here. “ A large number of musical instruments are available for purchase at the new store, including both electric and acoustic guitars, basses, select drum kit pieces and amplifiers.
