University of Dayton. Massachusetts A. ft M., University of towa. and Texas A. A M., by the score of 8339 points. The University of Alabama won the match by a score of 3361 points. <i • O H. Neal, captain of the Univer sity team and also lender of the (irst platoon of U company, whs the blah scorer for the Georgia team. He rung up 350 points of a possible 100. The match was shot on the 50 foot Indoor Octagon range with the new smnller regulation targets. All four positions were fired front. Due to the (*<*1 that Texas A. ft M. shot on the old regulation targets they were ruled out of the match. Their score on the old target was 3736 points,nearly 400 points above the University of Alabama, winner of: the match. Saturday, February IS. will end the'scoring ftjr the second match of the year. Frat Celebrates First Anniversary The Alpha Eta Chapter of Alpha (lamina Rho fraternity celebrated Its first anniversary with a banquet at the Holman hotel February 14. The dining room and table was elaborate ly decorated in green and gold, the colors of the fraternity. The place cards, programs, and favors were of green and gold, bearing the coat- of-arniH. Mr Claude Hoggs, president of the fraternity, was toastmaster, and the following toast program was given: ‘ OUR VALENTINE” "The Heart” Prof. W. W. Falligant, Savannah, were chosen to represent Phi Kappa and Demos- thenian Literary societies respective ly as anniversarians at the try-out held in the University of Georgia chapel Wednesday afternoon, Feb ruary If).
