Purpose of Association The Scholastic Press association was organized, it was said, as a means of Improving high school newspapers and of stimulating in terest in written work on the parts ••f high school students. All annual meeting at the Grady School of Journalism of all staff members of high school papers, as well as of teachers who supervise these* papers results In a valuable exchange of Ideas, in the opinion of those in charge of the association. The Scholastic Press association awards the prizes of $25 In gold given by The Athens Banner-Herald for the best school newspaper and for the best high school magazine. The prizes for 1928 will be awarded this fall.
