Another scrim mage was held Wednesday and the team showed some improvement. It is generally believed that the coaches this year will develop more reserve material than was had last year. This belief is strengthened by the fact that such men us Nash, Shi ver. Smith, and Hear Morris will not be on the firing line this year and the burden that these men were able to carry alone will have to be di vided. Three teams, and sometimes four, have been running signals on San ford Held and from these three teams the regulars will be chosen. One team Is composed of Red Smith and Mattel at ends, Frlnbee and Lautzen- liiser on the tackles, Haley and Ja cobson at guard, Holand at center, and Hooks, Dudley, Johnson and Mc Crary in the backfleld, Rothstein. Hill, Cook, and Paris are in the back- tteld of another team, Joe Martin and Kelly on end, Stelling and Bry ant at tackle, Huff and Rnsnake at guard, and Hollis Morris at center. The third team has Cox, Davidson, Waugh, and Butler In hackfield, Pal mer and llrudley at end, Ringel and Buchanan at tackle, Hill and Bennet at guard, and Lanford at center. And when the whistle blows on Oc tober the sixth Coach Mehre will have to call from those men u team to face Mercer. He has recently been grad uated from the Harvard Law School with his Bachelor of Laws degree. In the program of reorganization of the Law School, which Is under the supervision of Mr. Edmunds. the case system has been installed. Mr. Edmunds stutes that, although a great many of the country's most able lawyers were brought up under the old system, he believes the case system to be superior to the older system in its power to develop Ini tiative and clear legal thinking among students. LITTLE THEATER GUILD MAKES PLANS FOR YEAR The Athens Little Theatre Guild held its first meeting of the year in the Lucy Cobb Chapel Wednesday night. Plans for the coming season were discussed and a number of help ful suggestions were offered by the board of directors and the new mem bers present A publicity campaign was planned j and members of the Guild will speak to the University students and to the various organizations in the city.
