gave the lecture. He explained
that no one would be pressured
or even asked to become a Catho
lic. He simply asked that we look
with open minds at the evidence
of the Church’s divine foundation
and its authority to teach in the
name of God. He asked also that
we pray for light to see and

portrayed its growth through the
centuries: another depicted the
origin of Protestantism by Luther
