INSPIRATION
Why Do My People Hate Me?

Matthew 6:24,25 (KIV) No man can
serve two masters; for either he will hate the
one and love the other; or else he will hold
to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot
serve God and mammon (money).
Revelation 3:15,16 (Living Bible) I know
you well - you are neither hot nor cold; (16)
But 1 wish you were one or the other! But
since you are merely lukewarm; 1 will “spit”
you out of my mouth.
Most people don’t realize or don’t care
that they put money, material things, jobs,
people, etc. before God. God should be
everybody’s first priority in their life and
then he will supply all of your needs and
desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33 (KIV) But seek ye first the
Kingdom of God and his righteousness and
all these things shall be added unto you.
Some Christians as well as sinners put
God second instead of first in their life,
which causes them not to get the abundance
in life or blessings that God has for them.
For example, we will go to the mall and
spend hundreds of dollars on clothes to
wear to church, but when we get to church
and it is time to pay our tithes and offerings,
God gets only a tip and not ten percent of
your weekly or bi-weekly income.
Malachi 3; 8,9,10 (Living Bible) Will a
man rob God? Surely not! And yet you have
robbed me. “What do you mean? When did
we ever rob you?” You have robbed me of
the tithes and offerings due to me. (9) And
so the awesome curse of God is cursing
you, for the whole nation has been robbing
me. (10) Bring all the tithes into the
storehouse so that there will be food enough
in my Temple; if you do, I will open up the
windows of heaven for you and pour out a
blessing so great you won’t have room
enough to take it in!
Most people would rather work on
Sundays and Wednesdays instead of going
to church for worship service and Bible
study. Not only do they work, which keeps
them from worshipping the Lord, but they
also work in their yards, wash the cars,
travel, party, shop, etc. 1 was putting God
second in my life until He revealed to me
what 1 was doing. I worked seven days out
of a week, but on Sundays 1 would get off
work in time for worship service. In church
1 couldn’t be very attentive to the Preacher
because I was tired and sleepy. I praise God
for showing me what 1 was doing. After I
stopped working so much and put God first,
my life became better. I had more joy and
peace about every situation in my life, and
God gave me more wisdom and knowledge
about him.
God wants us to have a great desire for
him, and he wants us to let him order our
steps in life. God has great plans and
purposes for each person here on earth.
The key to receive God’s purpose and
blessings he has for us is to receive his
salvation. Once we receive salvation we
should always make God first in our life and
ourselves last.
Romans 10:9,10 (Living Bible) (9) For if
you tell others with your own mouth that
Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in
your own heart that God raised him from
the dead, you will be saved. (10) For it is by
believing in his heart that a man becomes
right with God; and with his mouth he tells
others of his faith, confirming his salvation.
I Peter 4:2 (NIV) As a result, he does not
live the rest of his life for evil human
desires, but rather for the will of God.
I pray that everyone will be blessed by
this article and ask God, “Is it anything
Lord that 1 put before you?” God bless you.
