LOOKING for new
challenges, Moorehead
decided one day to
end a career where he
had been an analyst for
Mobile and Chrysler
corporations and try his
hand at becoming an
automobile dealer. He
bought an Omaha, Neb.,
Buick/Isuzu dealer
ship, which blossomed. He then purchased a Buick/
GMC dealership in Illinois and moved to Virginia,
where he opened a BMW/Mini Cooper dealership.
It is the largest minority-owned BMW dealership
nationwide and ranks among the top 10 percent
in sales of the brand. This year, he became the first
African American to own a Rolls-Royce dealership
in the United States. Moorehead, who has served on
the Virginia Automobile Dealer Board, also owns
eight hotels across the country. The Monroe, LA.,
native is working on obtaining a doctorate from the
University of Michigan.

Seven-time NBA All-Star, Broadcaster and Managing

HILL spent 19 seasons in
the NBA, where he was a
seven-time All-Star and
was the Co-Rookie of the
Year in 1995. Hill, the
son of former NFL star
Calvin Hill, is a member
of the College Basketball
Hall of Fame after a
standout career at Duke
University, where he was
a two-time All-American and helped lead the Blue
Devils to two national championships. Hill is also
an Olympic gold medalist as a member of the 1996
U.S. Olympic men’s basketball team. Since retiring
in 2012, He has been a co-host of NBA TV’s “Inside
Stuff’ and has been a studio analyst for Turner
Sports. A longtime commercial real estate investor,
Hill also oversees Penta Mezzanine Fund’s day-to-
day activities and has led in raising more than $85
million for the Fund.

General of the United
States after being nom
inated by President
Barack Obama in
February 2009. Holder
became the first African
American to serve as
deputy attorney gener
al when President Bill
Clinton chose him for the position in 1997. The
New York City native served as U.S. Attorney for
the District of Columbia and was nominated by
President Ronald Reagan as associate judge of the
Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 1988.
Prior to becoming U.S. attorney general, he was a
litigation partner at Covington & Burling LLP in
Washington, D.C. ■
