SERVING GEORGIA’S 71 NORTHERN COUNTIES
VOL. 6, NO. 50
ATLANTA, GEORGIA
THURSDAY' DECEMBER 19,1968
There is n o other fact in alt history which mankind needs so much to have brought home to it as this: a man by the name of Jesus Christ once Stood in
our midst This is thought of Harhack, the German historian. .
God so loved the world that He sent His onlv begotten Son, and the Son so loved us that He gave Himself for our salvation. This is the message of Christ-
so part of the message of Christmas. ,
For the believer, the basic fact of the Feast is that God has come among His people. The Church and the charity of Christians are a sign to the world
that Jesus Christ still stands in our midst. Where God is, there is love. Where th people of God are, there must be love; love of God, and love of our fel
low-men, who like ourselves are the children of God.
For the Feast of the Nativity in the year 1968, then, we rejoice that the light and life of Christ have brought the love and laughter °J' he Je<»on. At
the same time, we pledge ourselves to make the Word manifest most fittingly in our love of, and service to the poor, the weak, and the needy.

Even as the Wise Men sought
the Christ Child over nine
teen hundred years ago, so ,
do wise men today seek the
peace that He brought to
all men. We join in their
prayers for a Christmas
blessed with lasting peace.
