Newspaper Page TextPAGE 16 — The Georgia Bulletin, May 21,1987 Pentecost 87 A National Satellite Celebration of Catholic Evangelization Saturday, June 6,1987 11:00 AM-6:00 PM A seven-hour media showcase that will bring together over 60,000 Catholics in more than 200 sites, linked together nationally by satellite. Join us as we celebrate contemporary Catholic evangelization and encourage Catholics to share their faith in Jesus Christ and His living body, the Church, with others. Lead by Rev. Alvin Illig, CSP, Director of the Paulist National Catholic Evangelization Association, you'll see and hear leading Catholic evangelists as they discuss compelling subjects such as evangelizing the urban unchurched, reaching out to the Hispanic community, and, turning on inactive Catholics. You'll watch panel discussions that comment on programs, projects and evangelization issues. You'll gather new ideas. You'll participate in songs and prayers. There will even be an opportunity for your group and local moderator to share discussion, reactions and ideas as the day continues. His Eminence, Joseph Cardinal Bemardin of Chicago, will address the evangelization of the Catholic. Participants will also hear a message from Pope John Paul II on evangelization and his upcoming trip to .the United States.
