OB if if I decided to write a love poem I don't think I'd talk about flowers too much or beauty because some people are in love who remind you of eggplants or dirty underwear and I don't think I'd talk about purity or spring I mean, even the Pope urinates and Spring even though it tops Bridey Murphy as an argument for reincarnation and even though its fragile and annually ephemeral its not quite The Point is it? if I decided to write a love poem I think I'd say that love sits on you until you hatch and then you suddenly realize that you didn't know you were in a shell G.G. the endless beginning Reflect upon the hands of time Man descends; or else he climbs Waters run amidst the rill Always moving, never still Always moving, never still So is man as he goes on Moving weaker or moving strong Life itself is but a mist; Death seeps in, yet man exists He wandered through the cloudy Life Cave Stumbled upon a tombstone, his name engraved Hands thrown up; echoing cries Fidgeting fingers co ver red -ridden eyes Cosmic Life and power too Surges up ... and then he 's through Soul to soul they met and loved But now h But now the spirit ascends above To wait in its accounted place Until it assumes another face For man his outer garment sheds And fellowmen declare him dead.
