MOTHERS TRAINING CENTER IN PALESTINE
It Gives Lightning Pick-Up
No effort is being spared by the Jewish pioneers in Palestine to
give their children the fruits of modern educational and psychological
progress. Tre photograph shows the mother-craft training center
in Tel-Aviv, supported by Zionist funds, where the mothers of the

9. Always ask your partner why
he didn’t return your lead; this will
remind him to lead it next time.
10. Don’t try to remember the rules.
It is too confusing.
11. Always explain your plays, par
ticularly when set. It shows your card
knowledge.
12. Talk about other subjects during
the game. It makes for good fellow
ship.
13. Claim all the honors—you might
get away with it.
14. Eat chocolate caramels or other
adhesive candy while playing. It keeps
the cards from skidding.
15. After the third round lay your
hand on the table and claim the rest
of the tricks; you may not have them,
but it^s much easier to play with all
the cards on the table.
X-RAY INSTITUTE OPENED IN
JERUSALEM
Jerusalem (J. T. A.)—A Roentgen
X-Ray Institute was opened yesterday
in the government hospital at Jeru
salem.
The High Commissioner, who deliv
ered an address at the exercises,
praised the generosity of Mr. Loesch
of Chicago who donated the amount
needed for the institute. Its equip
ment amounts to $10,000.
