The Musical Program
Preceding the ceremony an appro-

of the waist. A shoulder bouquet of
valley lilies adorned her shoulder.
The Reception
Following the ceremony a buffet
supper was held at the home. The
bride’s table which was overlaid with
a handsome embroidered cloth, was
ornamented with a white wedding
cake embossed in pink and lavender
chrysanthemums. Around the cake at
artistic intervals were silver candle
sticks holding slender pink unshaded
tapers which illuminated the lovely
scene. Bowls of small chrysanthemums
ornamented the ends of the table.
From the chandelier above the table
fell a shower of ribbon, valley lilies
and bells, adding a distinctive note to
the lovely decorations.
The receiving party included Mr.
and Mrs. Levison, parents of the
bride, and Miss Paula Levison, sister
of the bride. Mrs. Hillman Fish, sis
ter of the bride, kept the bride’s book.
Mrs. Levison wore a becoming model
of black satin fashioned along straight
lines, with surplice waist featuring an
inset yoke of real lace. She wore a
shoulder bouquet of Marchal Neil
roses. Mrs. Fish wore a model of
brown chiffon, fashioned along prin
cess lines, featuring the modish un
even hemline. A bouquet of rosebuds
adorned her shoulder.
The Wedding Trip
Mr. and Mrs. Meyerhardt left for
a wedding trip, after which they will
make their home at 2H Eighth street,
N. PL The bride added to her costume
a black broadcloth coat trimmed with
a collar of sun-dyed fitch fur, and a
close-fitting black felt hat to match.
Among the out-of-town guests who
attended the wedding were Mr. and
Mrs. Walter S. Nathan, of Bruns
wick; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boss, of
Chattanooga, Tenn.; Miss Debbye
Mosses and Isaac May, of Rome.
Miss Sara Shuman, whose marriage
to Mr. Harry PL Weinberg, of Los
Angeles, California, will be solemn
ized in December, is being delight
fully entertained.
Misses Lillian PLsserman, P>a Wein
berg and Marie Scheuer, were joint
hostesses at a bridge luncheon, Sat
urday, November 2nd, at Davisons.
Mesdames E. Stoliar and M. N.
Kaplan, entertained the bride-elect
with a bridge luncheon at the home
of Mrs. Kaplan on Tenth Street,
Sunday, November 10th.
Mesdames V. R. Bock and S. I. Gill-
man entertained for Miss Shuman,
Monday evening, November 11th,
with a surprise handkerchief shower.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bierman, of Val
dosta, Ga., announce the birth of a
boy, named Maurice. Mrs. Bierman
was formerly Miss Shirley Minsk of
Atlanta.
Friends throughout the South will
be interested in the announcement of
the engagement of Miss Sura Wolff,
of Allendale, S. C., to Sam Wengrow
of Columbia, S. C.
Miss Wolff recently attended the
University of South Carolina and
from that university received her A.
B. degree.

Mrs. Morris Solomon is convalesc
ing from a recent operation at Wes
ley Hospital.
Mrs. Walter Visanska suffered a
severe injury in a fall, and is con
fined to her home on Virginia Ave.
It will be of interest to friends to
learn that Captain Ralph Louis Will-
ner has been promoted to grade of
Major of Infantry in the United
States Army Reserves. This promo
tion was at the direction of President
Hoover.
Mr. and Mrs. E. I). Kayser of Sel
ma, Alabama, spent a few days in the
city recently.
Mr. Donald Broda of Columbus,
Ga., spent the week-end as the guest
of Mr. and Mrs. John Herzfeld.
Friends throughout the South will
regret to hear of the death of Mrs. II.
L. Cans of Bainbridge. Mrs. Gans suf
fered an injured hip in a fall which
resulted in her death.
Miss Anne Ehrlich visited Colum
bus, a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerland Schlesinger
of San Francisco, are visiting Mr. and
Mrs. Sigfried Samuels at their home
on P]ast I^ake Drive.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goettinger an
nounce the birth of a little daughter,
named Carol.
Mrs. Sol Benjamin has recovered
from a recent illness.
Misses Perle Bokritzky, Rae Ros
