The Group
The Group Open for
Formal Membership
Those fortunate ones of you
who were among the celebrants
at the Tiki, know how great it
was. It is a source of great sat
isfaction how well The Group has
caught on. People who have lived
in Atlanta for many years are
quick to observe that never has
such a fine cross-section of young
Jewish adults been brought to
gether under such delightful con
ditions.
But it’s not all peaches and
cream. Someone has to plan
these get-togethers, mailing lists
must be compiled and kept cur
rent, and countless other arrange
ments have to be co-ordinated.
The AJCC has endorsed The
Group, provided its facilities, sec
retarial and mailing services and
staff advisory services to The
Group. Without the AJCC’s sup
port, there could be no Group,
as none of us has either the time,
facilities or resources to take on
such a monumental project.
Of necessity, Group member
ship will be a requisite to all fu
ture events. The tab is $7.50 for
six months, $5.00 of which goes
to the AJCC, and $2.50 remains
with the Group. (Those of you
who are already AJCC members,
pay only $2.50). For Group mem
bers joining the AJCC later, $5.00
will be credited toward your
AJCC membership fee.
To stay on our mailing list and
be able to participate in get-to
gethers which have been long-
needed in Atlanta, join the Group
now.
A special informal social with

AJCC. You may join Thursday
if you wish, though we prefer
that you send your check in ad

straight. Dress is informal. There
