Carol Tzinberg and Henry Richard
Redder were married Sunday,
Aug. 14, in Agudas Achim Syn
agogue. Rabbi Charles Y. Hart
man performed the ceremony,
which was followed by a dinner
and reception at the synagogue.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Tzinberg, 3
Sylvania Drive, East St. Louis.
Mr. Tzinberg is operator of
Shop Land shopping center,
Belleville. She is the grand
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip
Shafferman of Atlanta.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Reckler, 760
Krameria St., Denver, Colo. Mr.
Reckler is a general .sales man
ager for the Samsonite Corp.
Miss Terri Goldberg was maid
of honor. The bridegroom’s sis
ter Miss Joanne Reckler and the
bride’s sister Miss Marilyn Tzin
berg were bridesmaids. The
bride’s sister Miss Judy Tzinberg
was junior bridesmaid.
Ken Rotskoff was best man.
Ushers were the bride’s brother
Charles Tzinberg, the bride
groom’s cousins Ken and Rich
ard Light, and the bride’s cousin
Mark Goldenberg.
The bride’s book was kept by
Mrs. Harvey Ruben.
The bride was graduated this
summer from Washington Uni
versity, St. Louis, and will teach
elementary school in the fall.
The bridegroom is a graduate
of Washington University, where
ne was a member of Pi Lambdi
Phi fraternity. He is attending
Northwestern University School
of Law. He is a member of the
Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity
and was elected as a competitior
for the editorial board of the
Northwestern University Law Re
view.
After a wedding trip to Florida,
the couple will live in Chicago.
Miss Judith B. Miller, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham
Miller of Augusta, has been
named to the dean’s list at Sim
mons College in Boston for the
year. She is a graduate of Rich
mond Academy and will be a
senior in the department of so
cial science.

Miss Margaret Heyman, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph K.
Heyman of Atlanta, has returned
from a summer in Europe with
the American Youth Hostel
group. While there she spent
several days in Portugal with her
sister and brother-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. David Hinman and then
spent a day in Holland with the
Hinmans’ children, Paul, 4, and
Rachel who was bom on April 6
of this year. Mr. Hinman, direc
tor Of the Netherlands Chamber
Orchestra, will make his Amer
ican debut next spring with the
Philadelphia Symphony Orches
tra.

Miss Rose Roffman of New
York has finished a season of
summer stock in Asheville, N. C.,
and is spending the month of
September in Atlanta with her
sister, Mrs. Lawrence Goldberg,
and mother, Mrs. William Roff
man. Miss Roffman appeared last
season on Broadway in “Mating
Dance” with Van Johnson.

Frances Krebs, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Krebs, has
just returned from Camp B’nai
B’rith, Starlight, Pa., where she
attended the BBYO International
Leadership Training Conference
for three weeks. Frances is the
past president of Amirah-BBG.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Shaffer
man of Atlanta have returned
from East St. Louis, Ill., where
they attended the wedding of
their granddaughter, Renee Tzin
berg, to Henry Reckler of Den
ver. Others from Atlanta who
attended the wedding were Mr.
and Mrs. Marc Firestone, Mr. and
Mrs. Herman Pollack, Mrs. Her
man Kalfin, Mrs. Julian Jacobs,
I. Kaplan, Mrs. Jack Hurwitz,
and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rubin.
Also attending were Dr. and Mrs.
Sam Shafferman and Stanley of
Birmingham and Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Oglansky of Minnea
polis.

of Los Angeles will spend the
holidays in Atlanta with their sis
ter Mrs. Ida Goncher and bro
ther Isadore Natkoff and Mrs.
Natkoff. The Thempers are re
turning from a seven months’
visit in Israel.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lincer
of Atlanta have just returned
from New York where they
wished a bon voyage to Mrs.
Lincer’s parents, frequent Atlan
ta visitors, who sailed on a Car
ibbean cruise. They visited their
daughter Madeline who joined
them on a long Labor Day week
end in Mexico City and Guad
alajara. She will visit with her
parents for Yom Kippur.
BBG—SIMCHA
B’nai B’rith Girl a—Simcha
held it’s first meeting for the
coming year on Sunday, August
28, 1966, at the Atlanta Jewish
Community Center. Dues were
collected; and the following
Council Delegates were elected:
Linda Ulman, Carol Swartzman
and Marcia Medintz.
This summer, BBG-Simcha
participated in the Girls Softball
League. An enjoyable summer
was had by all BBG-Simcha
members. Future plans call for
participating in local community
drives.
