a division of she county, now lies in Bullock county, on the Waters of Canuchie,
Ogechie, great and little Lotts Creeks, Ten and fifteen mile Creeks, &fc. (jfc. granted
on the 25th and 26th September, March 28th, and O&ober sth and nth, 1793. —
Taken under Execution as the property of Robert Morris & John Nicholson,
to fatisfy George Sibbald, the property pointed out bv the Planiiff.

A PROCLAMATION.
»T T 7 HERE'Ats I hive received official
\V information under oath of the
Sheriff of the county of Hancock, that two
convinc’d criminals called William Muf
grove and Nathan Tail, confined under len
ience of death for forgery, in the common
jail of the said county, did on the night of
the twenty-fifth of February last pad,
make their escape therefrom—and their
persons art thus deferibed :
“ William Musgrove, supposed to
“ have been about thirty-five years of age,
“ dark complexion, a good deal pitted
“ with the small-pox, short black hair, a
“ about five feet eight inches high, strong
“ made.”
“Nathan Tait, supposed to have
. “ been about twenty-five years of age,
“ five feet nine inches high, light colour
“ hair, pale complexion, rather llender
. “ made.”
/ have therefore thought fit, to issue this mv
Proclamation, offering a reward of one hun
dred dollars , to any person or persons who
will seize either of the aforementioned
crirrynals, and lodge them or either of
them jn the jail of the county of Hancock,
or some other secure jail in this state.
AND I DO HEREBY, charge and
require all officers, civil and military be
longing to this state, to be aiding and af
fixing in feizingand securing the said con
viAed criminals.
GIVEN under my hand and the great seal
of this state. at the State- House in Louis
ville, this sixteenth day of March, in the
year of our Lord eighteen hundred ana
one , and of American Independence the
t wenty-fifth.

WHEREAS the said Joseph and Wil
liam ys did, v>* the twenty
fourth dav of April lali:, obtain, on the
common law fide of this honorable court,

a verdiCt, and did thereupon enterup judg
ment against the said Charles Abercrom
bie, for the sum of 4285 dollars 70 cents ;
And whereas the said Charles Abercrom
bie did file his petition and bill on the equi
ty fide of the said court, praying relief from
the said judgment, and, for the reasons al
ledged in the said bill, an injunction was
granted, forbidding all further proceedings
taking place on the judgment aforefaid :
And, in the term of November last, it ap
pearing to the court that the said Joseph
and William were citizens of the state of
Kentucky, and not within the jurifdiCtion
the court: It was therefore ordered, “ That

“ zettes of Savannah and Augusta, ten
“ weeks successively, stating the names of
l s parties, and that injunction has iflued, J

in the city of Savannah on the 20th day of
April ensuing, to have the said bill taken
