A RESOLUTION in the words fol
lowing, to wit:
“ RESOLVED, That his Excellency
“ the Governor be and he is hereby au
“ thorized and requested, to pursue such
“ measures as in his judgment may molt 1
“ effectually afeertain, and collect, all just
“ claims which the citizens of this state
“ may have against the Creek Nation of
“ Indians ; which said claims (hall before
“ they are exhibited, be duly authenticat
“ ed by the oath of one or more difin’er
“ efted persons, taken and certified by
“ any Judge, Jtiftice of the Peace, or
“ Clerk of the Superior or Inferor
“ Courts.” Having palled both branch
es of the Legiilature, and received the as
sent of the Executive—it is
ORDERED, That all persons having
claims against the Creek Nation of In
dians, for property of any defeription by
them taken or plundered, be and they are
hereby required, to tranfmitthe fame as
soon as pofiible to the Executive depart
ment, authenticated in the manner by the
afore recited resolution pointed out.

FIFTY DOLLARS REWARD.”
STOLEN from out of the liable of the
Subscriber on the n'ght of the 17th
inflant, a BAY GELDING, upwards of
fifteen hands high, with a hanging mane,
and switch tail, he is about eight years
old, has on the top of his back a white
spot, a small Bar on the forehead, and on
the under jaw-bone ; a natural fweiling
about the size of a small walnut, he trots
and canters well, and is a remarkable good
Carriage Horse. It is supposed that he
was Bolen by a white man, as a peifon
drefled in a light colored coat and white
hat, was seen lurking about the plantation
at a late hour of the night he was taken
away. The above reward will be paid
on delivery of the horse and thief, or
Thi*ty Dollars for the horse alone.
