Charleston , March 8, 1814 Dear Sir —l feel much pleasure in having it in my power to communicate a surprising cure, effected by the Medicihe I purchased from you termed Dr. Robertson's Elixir of Health. I will state the following facts: about the latter end of Novetnher last, I pro cured from you some of the Elixir of Health, for « boy of mine, who had labored under a violent Cough for more tiian 12 months, atten ded with a slow fever ahd shortness of breath, it had reduced him so much that I concluded it would terminate fatally. He took many other Medicines and found no relief. He con tinued to use the Elixir fur about three weeks, when his cough, feVer and shortness of breath ceased, and he is now in good health, having had no return of his disorder. To this demon have thousands fallen a sacrifice, in the direful transpoit of its rage The most common symptomh at its com mencement, are weakness, flatulence, palpita lions, watchfulness, drowsintss after e>ling 1 timidity, flishes of heat and cold, numbness, cramp, giddiness; pains in the he.d, back and loins ; hicUp, diffi ulty of respiration and deglutition, anxiety, d,y cough. &c. The Vegetable Nervous Cordial is also a .treat Antiscot buiic Medicine, and is of infin ite service for putifying the blood and curing ihu»- foul disordets of the skin which com monly appear in the fomi of Scurvy, Surfeit. lLd Blotches, Catbuncles, Ulcers, Sic.
