Lieu of the Originals, to wit : One
bill of fjale fora negro named George,
given by John Hill to said Henry
Usher, dated about the 6th day of
March, 1803. One given by Thomas
Woolfolk, lo said Usher, for a Ne
gro boy named Jess, dated about the
2d day of July, 1809. One given by
Isaac Garland to the gaid Usher,
for three negroes to wit. A woman
by the name of Edey, and her two
cluiilreu by the name of Jacob and
Esther, bearing date about the 2d
day of May, 1809. And another
given by William Bramlett to the said
Usher, for a negro boy named Tom,
dated about the 3d day of July 18t3.
It is ordered, that the said Copies
be established in lieu of the original
bills of sales at the next Term of
thi Court, unless sufficient cause be
shewn to the contrary : And it is
further ordered, that a Copy of this
Rule be published iu one of the pub
lie Gazettes of Ibis state, onee a

of Mortgage of iu and to ail that Lot
of Land situate, lying and being in
i the City of Augusta, in the County of
aforesaid, bounded on the north by
Reynold -treet and containing forty
one feet three inches front on said
street, it being the North Eastern cor
ner of the Lot known as Lot number
thirteen in the plan of the City
aforesaid, bounded East by the es
tate of Cresswell’s Lot, ou the West
by a part of said Lot No. 13 sold by
said Heky Shultz lo David Ral
ston, and running back one hundred
ami seventy seven feet, where it is
bounded by another part of said Lot,
No. 13, sold by said Henry Shultz
to John L. Vnderson dj* Co. \\ hich
sa d Lot of Land was mortgaged as
aforesaid to secure the paymeut of
the sum ol sixteen hundred and twelve
dollars and fifty eents and interest,
then due aud lo become payable in
the manner therein specified.
\V hereupon, on motion of J Hutch
inson attorney for the Petitioner. It
is ordered, that the principal, in
terest and eost now due on said more
■ gage be paid into court within twelve
months from this date, otherwise the
equity of redemption in and to (lie
; mortgaged premises will be from
thenceforth forever barred and fore
closed ; and other proceedings take
place thereon according to the sta
tute in such case made and provided.
And it is fur her ordered, that a
copy of this Rule be published in one
of the public Gazettes of this state, at
least onee in every month until the
time appointed for payment, or serv
ed on the moitgager or his special
agent at least six month previous to
the time the money is directed to be
paid.

mislaid, so that the same cannot now
be obtained, and praying that a copy
of the said Note which is annexed to
his said petition, may be established in
lieu of the said original, in terms of
the Act of the General Assembly, and
