Nelson Lyons, the negro whom the police state hears a very unsavory reputation, was bound over this morn ing for trial at the superior court, charged with assault with intent to commit murder. Renkl has returned from Rome and Athens, where he has beven looking after the recruiting stations at these places. At Athens seventeen men wpre sent to Griffin and at Rome thir teen were sent. Copt. Renkl says he now has 102 men In his campany and only wants four more. SPARTANBURGERS. Another Company or So-Called Im munes Arrived Today. Another company of colored soldiers arrived In Augusta this morning on the Charleston and Western Carolina road at nine o'clock. The company came from Spartanburg, S. C., and were under the command of Captain Hennenun.
